The Challenge

For five years, Tommy Hilfiger has trusted Image Options (IO) to bring their seasonal retail windows to life. 

For Spring 2025, they sought a premium aesthetic where every detail mattered. 

Our task: execute flawlessly with real plaster, wood veneer, and expert craftsmanship across flagship and standard stores.

Transforming Design into Reality

Tommy Hilfiger’s team envisioned handcrafted plaster walls, sleek wood plinths, and integrated lighting. 

The challenge? Deliver luxury for flagship locations while creating cost-effective alternatives for broader retail rollout—without compromising impact.

The Build

At IO, we transform creative concepts into immersive experiences. Partnering with Tommy Hilfiger, our fabrication team refined materials, tested prototypes, and scaled production seamlessly. 

This wasn’t just a display—it was a custom fabrication project that redefined luxury retail.

The use of Premium Woods, Custom Designed Furniture, Hand Plastered Walls, and Creative Lighting Elements all worked together to craft a beautiful and premium look and feel for our client.

Premium Execution

Custom Walls:

•  8-foot-tall structures in 4 or 6-foot widths

•  Curved edges, some featuring integrated LED light strips

•  Hand-applied plaster finishes for an authentic, textured look

Luxury Plinths:

•  Designed to support mannequins in four (4) size variations

•  Prototype: Cost-effective printed styrene over plywood

•  Final execution: High-end wood veneer on plywood and bender board base

•  98 plinths expertly built and installed in nine (9) flagship stores across the U.S. and Canada

Scalable Solutions

To maintain visual consistency across 164 additional store locations, our team developed a cost-effective alternative that mimicked the flagship aesthetic:

• Digitally Recreated Wood Veneer: Our team photographed the real wood finish and converted it into high-resolution Print Files, replicating the look without the cost.

• Kemi e-flute podiums: Designed to visually match the high-end version while offering lightweight shipping and cost-efficient production.

• Production & Rollout:

o 940 podiums manufactured in various sizes

o Shipped to 164 locations, ensuring brand consistency across all stores
